My name is Anne Hopfer, creator and designer of Made for Me by Oaklie Knit and Crochet Fashion Accessories.

I began crafting when I was very young I started with embroidery, and then crochet both taught by my Grandmother. I then decided I wanted to knit and got a book and taught myself to knit, (thus the beginning of Made for Me by Oaklie!). I also dabbles in oil paints and pastels as well as enjoy playing the piano.
I live in Utah with my husband of 15 years, 2 cats and 3 dogs. My mother and brother are also here and I have a sister in California.

With my primary craft being knit and crochet- I pretty much "carry my studio" with me wherever I go! LOL

I am inspired for my creations by life: "there are so many wonderful things out there that give me ideas for my crafting: a beautiful sunset, a button, or a ball of yarn… The ideas "pop into my head", and off I go to create! "I don't set 'hours'… in my creative world, I create when I am inspired to do so'. ”
